how to cover tattoos for work

Tattoo First, the typical questions?

I just got my first tattoo 3 days ago, and I'm curious in a couple of things. First, I am IM keeping it covered while at work, so my bra and whatnot doesn't rub on it and only make things worse or the leg. What is the extension factor .. and how long I do this job? (The tattoo is small 4 pawprints in my upper shoulder) I have also been putting in A & D, which was recommended, and after 3-4 days I was told that only lotion would be good? Should I keep the A & D anyway? Only I am curious how long do I have to worry about smudging or ruin factor with the bra straps and tank straps rub on it. So far so good with large tanks to avoid TATT. Any common advice would be great. Thank you!

I covered the tattoo is probably not the best idea that is a recent wound has to heal. I would recommend the ointment or lotion to keep it selected. Re-apply at least 3 to 4 times a day. If you use a petroleum-based ointment, use only a thin layer of it, otherwise they can leak excess ink and such. Wash your hands before touching it. (very important) Congrats on the ink.
