Black Tattoo looking gray?

I just got my 6th tattoo and is the only one ever had done in black only. It is a name with a design around … My question is ….. How after the scabs fell … for the gray lines in some places and black in some places? Not of my tattoos another schema always the case. I do not know if it will just make the cure or what. Also where did some shadows not even seem to have even a shadow indeed. What does all this mean to the color wasn't deep enough or what? What do you think?

All the black is very difficult to reach perfection the first time. Make sure you have given much time to heal to really see the final product, then go back to tinkering. If you have heavy crusts, you can pull the ink out sometimes. I had a combination of heavy crusting and a heavy-handed artist. He had to have it all tweaked recently (it was an artist whether different this time!).
